Trevor Hohns has been announced as Cricket Australia’s interim chairman of selectors following the resignation of Rod Marsh.
Former Test captain Greg Chappell has also been installed on an interim basis following a meeting on Wednesday night.
Hohns is a former national slector having assumed the role between 1993 and 2006.
He was chairman for 10 years.
Marsh was appointed chairman of selectors in May 2014.
His resignation followed Australia’s fifth-straight Test loss in an innings and 80-run loss to South Africa in Hobart.
Marsh was set to stand down from the role in July next year.
