The Storm have been quietly investigating bringing the 26-year-old to the Victorian capital to replace the impending loss of Cooper Cronk who will shift to Sydney at season’s end.

The Warriors are rated less than even money to keep the former Manly premiership-winning half in Auckland with the professionalism and consistency of the Storm believed to be extremely enticing.

His connection to Bulldogs coach Des Hasler reportedly will not be enough to get Foran to Belmore.

He does not want to go anywhere near the mess that is the Tigers.

Add in the fact Tahu Harris and Jordan McLean are leaving the Storm, freeing up some serious cap space, combined with Cronk’s current deal of $1 million a season which will not apply for 2018.

And let’s not forget the master coach Craig Bellamy who will help Foran improve as a player, something he has not had since he was mentored by Hasler at Manly.
