Steve “Beaver” Menzies made a comeback at the weekend helping Warringah to a 47-19 win over Norths in a fifth-grade rugby union match.
Playing at outside centre, the 43-year-old bagged three tries alongside his brother Josh Gerrard.
“It was something we have literally been planning for years,” Gerrard told the Manly Daily.
“Since I started playing 15 years ago you always want to play with your brother and it was awesome.

“We hung around each a little bit trying to pass the ball to each other.”
Menzies was at his damaging best in defence too, making light work of an opposing player.
Team mate Ryan Trbojevich said: “Beaver just cut him in two.”
The player was left lying on the turf and needed treatment.
Menzies will continue his rugby career on the international stage this week playing for the Classic Wallabies in the Tens tournament being held in Hong Kong.
