Corey Parker says relations between Queensland and NSW are the worst he has experienced during his time in the Origin arena.
The Maroons were left bemused when NSW chose to do a lap of honour thanking their Sydney fans instead of listening to Queensland skipper Cameron Smith’s post-match speech in which he thanked his Blues counterpart Paul Gallen.
Parker told Sky Sports Radio he believed relations between the sides were at breaking point.
"Absolutely. Yeah, I do," he said.
"There's a thing called sportsmanship and I think that's what aggravated most Queenslanders through that game.
"I do feel there's that real bad blood ... between the two teams."
Parker denied claims the snub was inspired by excessive sledging of the Blues and Paul Gallen from Queensland.
"That's an opinion from him, I never heard any from where I was and I didn't throw any either," Parker said.
Gallen hit out at Parker, Johnathan Thurston and Matt Gillett on Friday night for the the way they berated NSW players at full-time following their series securing victory.
"You talk about disrespect, you've only got to look back in Game II and the end of that game Johnathan Thurston looks directly at me and says `F... your Blues'," Gallen told Triple M.
