Angus Crichton has signed with the Sydney Roosters in a massive blow for the Rabbitohs.
Foxsports.com.au report Crichton has signed a three-year-deal with the Bondi club.
The 21-year-old is contracted to South Sydney for 2018 and will join the Roosters the following season.
Crichton reportedly travelled to Coffs Harbour to inform Russell Crowe on Sunday before breaking the news to his teammates.
He is on the cusp on Blues selection and was a Roosters junior and played alongside Connor Watson, Latrell Mitchell and Joseph Manu.
And despite playing just 30 NRL games, Crichton is regarded as one of the competition's brightest backrow prospects.
More to come.
