Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge has secured his long term future at the club after agreeing to terms which will keep him in the kennel until the end of 2020.
Beveridge was named the AFL Coaches' Association Coach of the Year in his debut season in 2015 after leading the Bulldogs to an elimination final following a 14-8 win-loss record.
Bulldogs director of football Chris Grant said the club was elated to have secured the 45-year-old's services for the next four seasons.
“Not only has Luke achieved results on the field, we are also pleased with the way he builds relationships with our staff and players and the rate at which our playing group is growing and developing,” he said.
“We are excited and optimistic for the next four years under Luke’s leadership.”
Beveridge said he was excited at the prospect of further developing his squad as they worked towards an AFL Premiership.
“As a group we have high expectations and I am committed to working with our staff, coaches and players to continue to progress this great club,” he said.
