Red Bull's Max Verstappen made the best of the searing southern European southern heat to win the Austrian Grand Prix, delivering engine supplier Honda with its first F1 win since 2006. Verstappen's victory was not without controversy, the Dutchman waiting some hours after the race for confirmation while stewards investigated his overtaking move on Charles Leclerc that saw the latter's Ferrari bundled off the circuit.

The Max factor

To others, his aggressive antics are troubling. Like any F1 rookie he lacks maturity, but could it actually be that he arrived in F1 too young and too inexperienced?
